Odyssey of the Mind Teams Head to World Finals

The North Bay Haven Odyssey of the Mind Teams competed at the state championships in Orlando, FL. The high school team got 5th place, and the two middle school teams - won 2nd and 3rd. All three teams are going to the World Finals for the first time ever. This is the highest rank North Bay Haven teams have reached since first joining the competition eight years ago. Special thanks goes out to the instructors: Mrs. Giambra and Mr. Naegele.  

Odyssey of the Mind has been the world’s greatest creative problem-solving program since its beginning in 1978. What started as a project for students in a single industrial design class, has grown into a world-wide program that has reached multiple generations, allowing students to learn, develop, and employ skills related to teamwork, resource management, designing and making, divergent thinking, and so much more.
