Jenny Reeves, Executive Director
Jenny Reeves has been a resident of Bay County for more than13 years. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from ODU in Norfolk, Virginia. She has been an Undergraduate Chemistry Laboratory Instructor for the University of ODU, a Physics and Chemistry teacher for the South Texas Independent School district, and was the District Manager for Childcare Network for 8 years serving over 1,000 children from birth to 12 years in the Florida Panhandle and Southern Georgia area. Currently, she is a nurse practitioner for the Brain and Spine Specialist and an ICU registered nurse at HCA Healthcare. She took on the role as the Executive Director of the Haven Family Foundation in 2015 and is always eager to work with everyone to build a strong foundation for the present and future students on both campuses. Jenny is married to Jack Reeves, who works for the Department of Homeland Security. They have two children; Genesis, who graduated from North Bay Haven in 2020, and Jillian, who attends Bay Haven.
Jennifer Aldridge, President
Jennifer Aldridge is a native of Louisiana. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and has worked for the City of Panama City since 2016. She and her husband Brandon have two daughters, Abigail and Scarlet, who attend Bay Haven Charter Academy. In the wake of Hurricane Michael, Jennifer became heavily involved with the rebuild of Panama City and witnessed firsthand how powerful a community can be when working together toward a common goal. She believes this translates over to education as well. Her passion for our children’s well-being and future is a major driving factor in her desire to serve.
Ginette Collins, Vice President
Ginette Collins is from Ann Arbor, MI. She is a military spouse and teacher stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base. Ginette graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2009, where she studied Elementary Education. In 2013, she earned a Masters in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University. Before becoming a military spouse, Ginette taught for Ann Arbor Public Schools. She has three wonderful children, two of whom attend Bay Haven Academy. Her interests are education policy, listening to podcasts and baking.
Larry Bolinger, Chief Education Officer
Larry Bolinger has more than 42 years in public education and still retains the same enthusiasm and anticipation he had in his first year of teaching. During his career, he taught language arts and social studies at the middle and high school levels for 12 years, and then English and speech at the collegiate level as an adjunct for many years. For the past 30 years, Larry has worked in school administration as a district supervisor, assistant principal, principal, and superintendent. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English in 1973, a master’s in administration and supervision in 1977 and an education specialist in English Education in 1997. He has been married to his wife for more than 40 years and is blessed with two children Brian and Jill, and two grandchildren.
Crystal Nixon, Treasurer
Crystal Nixon has an Accounting degree from Florida State University and a master’s degree in Business from Troy State University. She holds her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Prior to starting Perdue, Skinner & Nixon, LLC, she worked for Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy as a tax analyst who advised Fortune 100 companies. She is also an adjunct accounting professor at Gulf Coast State College. Crystal is very involved in her church and other local Panama City charitable organizations. She currently serves on the Bay Haven Charter Academy, Inc. Foundation Board, is a Guardian Ad Litem, and is very involved with foster children. Crystal has been married to her husband Mike for 17 years and they have four children who attend North Bay Haven Charter and Career Academy.
Marty Perrett, President Emeritus
Marty Perrett grew up in the Lynn Haven area graduating from Mosley High School in 1987 and from Gulf Coast Community College. In 2004, after many years in the insurance business, he began his career in banking and is currently Vice President of First National Bank Northwest Florida. Over the years Marty has been very active in our local community as a youth baseball coach and through many local clubs and organizations. He served as President of the Haven Family Foundation from 2011 to 2021 and currently serves on the Board of Directors and as an Executive Board Member of the Bay Building Industries Association. He has served as President of the North Bay Haven Baseball Boosters Club, President of the North Bay Haven Boosters, Inc. Board, President of the North Bay Haven Cheerleading Booster Club, and President of the Emerald Coast Red Elephant Club. He is also very involved at his church, First Baptist Church of Panama City, where he has served over 22 years as a Children’s Worship Leader. Marty has been happily married to his wonderful wife Laurie since 1994. They have three children who all proudly spent their entire K-12 careers at Haven Schools: Harrison (c/o 2014), Grace (c/o 2018) and Sophia (c/o 2020).
Amanda Basford, Secretary

Amanda Basford was born in Grand Junction, Colorado and moved to Blountstown, Florida at the age of 5. She studied theater, art, and psychology at Chipola College in Marianna and later decided to attend Law Enforcement School in Gadsden County and then in Washington County. She moved to Panama City in 2017 and became a substitute teacher. She and her husband Derek have two daughters, Charlie, and Liliana, who attend Bay Haven Elementary. Amanda is proud to serve the Haven Foundation and to help our schools. “Our children are the future. Let's provide them with the pathways they need to be successful and the tools to make it happen!”
