High Expectations, High Achievements

Haven Schools are located on two campuses known as Bay Haven and North Bay Haven Charter Academies. These two locations, in Bay County, Florida, include two elementary, two middle, and one high school. We educate more than 3,000 students each year with a staff of almost 400!

The Florida Department of Education has ranked Haven Schools as “A” schools since we opened in 2001. Haven Schools consistently rank among the top 10% of all schools in the state.

• Haven staff, students, and parents are treated like family.

• We require parents to volunteer 20 hours per year.

• All students 6th grade and beyond have Chromebooks.

• All students wear uniforms.

• Our high school follows a block schedule (4 classes per day).

As a community school of choice for teachers, parents, and students, our mission is to teach beyond the standards in order to meet all children’s needs and motivate them to reach their unique potential. All classrooms have the most up-to-date technology including smart boards and online platforms to prepare students to be college and career ready.

Academic Programs

K-8 Program – Our K-8 program is academically rigorous and challenging, preparing our students for high school.

STEAM Program K-12 – Using state of the art labs, materials and equipment, our STEAM program offers engaging lessons and experiments in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and the arts.

Studies in Advanced and Innovative Learning (SAIL) – This advanced academic student program provides students who meet entrance criteria with engaging, relevant, and rigorous classes including college courses.

AP Capstone Diploma School – We offer Advanced Placement (AP) college-level courses and the ability for students to earn an AP Capstone diploma.

Dual Enrollment – High school students can earn college credit at Gulf Coast State College, Florida State University, and Embry Riddle University.
