Each year for the past 24 years, the kindergarten Bay Haven Bobcats celebrate a very special event—the wedding of Q and U. “This is a silly, fanciful, wonderful way to teach students the spelling pattern of "qu" in a way that is truly memorable,” said Kindergarten Teacher Carrie Bascetta. “The wedding reinforces the idea that every time we write a word with a "q" in kindergarten, we always follow q with a ‘u.’”
